Scope of Service Experience
|
Barry is responsible for leading the development, growth and all aspects of the ongoing operation of NAI Horizon's Property Management Division.
Strategic Planning - Sets the annual goals and objectives for the division, prepares short and long-term business plans for the operation including growth assumptions, staffing plans and budgets.
Business Development/Client Retention - Responsible for growing Property Management's market share and client base through strategic marketing initiatives and leveraging broker and client relationships. Solicits new business, prepares proposals, conducts presentations and negotiates management contracts. In addition sets and administers client retention and communication policies.
Team Leader - Hires, mentors and directly supervises all property management, construction management, property maintenance and accounting personnel serving the company's property management clients. Responsible for employee development, establishes procedures and conducts regular team meetings for the division.

Background & Experience
|
Thirty year career in commercial real estate services. Has directly managed portfolios of office, retail, industrial and mixed-use properties. Experience in association management and as a court appointed receiver. Has led regional Asset Services divisions of up to 100 employees. Highly developed skills in asset management, property management, leasing, property sales, due diligence, budgeting, capital planning, business development, team building, revenue enhancement, expense efficiencies, project management and client relations. Expertise in staff leadership, communication, problem solving, and achieving bottom-line results.
